How to get an assessment
In most instances, to access equipment or wheelchairs you’ll need to be assessed by a health or social care professional. You can ask your GP for a referral or contact MedEquip to ask about or request an assessment. Phone 0300 123 2224 or click here for the “Care and Support Assessment” on Somerset County Council’s website for more information.
