If you would like to access the Carers or Professional chat forum, please email or phone 01823 331 222 and ask for Emma McGarva, who will take your details and register you as a Forum member.

A membership and personalised log in will then be created for you.

If you are a professional we will require evidence of your working credentials.

If you are a Carer that has not used the Somerset Carers Service before we will ask for some contact details and these will be stored on our database. You can give as much or as little personal details as you like, but we will need your name and email address as a minimum.

Unless you specifically give us permission to contact you with regards to newsletters, or putting you in touch with third parties that would be able to assist you, you will not be contacted about anything other than forum related information.

You can be removed from the system at any point, however old posts within the forum may remain.

Chat threads within the forum will be deleted if they are stagnant for 6 months.

Please read carefully the pinned post in the forum with regards to a code of conduct. Any misuse or evidence of non-compliance with the forum rules will result in your membership to the forum being revoked.
