Online Carers Groups
Online Carers Group: 7pm fourth Tuesday of each month
We think it’s important for carers to take some time out and meet other people who really understand their situation.
If you would benefit from this but would struggle to attend a face-to-face meeting due to caring and/or work commitments, then why not join an online group? We want to celebrate the non-traditional mechanisms for respite, consciously taking time out for yourself as a Carer is so important for your health and mental well-being.
We meet monthly via Zoom to chat, share information and hear from guest speakers.
Join us – 7pm on the FOURTH TUESDAY of the month
Everyone is welcome and you can join the zoom call without turning your camera and mic on, and just listen in, you do not have to participate.
Please click the Register button to get set up for the group meeting.
Online Carers Group for parents of adult children with disabilities or additional needs: 10am fourth Friday of each month
We meet monthly via Zoom to chat, share information and hear from guest speakers.
Join us – 10am on the FOURTH FRIDAY of the month
Everyone is welcome and you can join the zoom call without turning your camera and mic on, and just listen in, you do not have to participate.

Online Groups – open 24 hours a day
Joining online forums or social media groups around subjects that interest you, such as gardening, art and music, can provide welcome relief for carers and a chance to connect to others with shared interests.
Most of these online sanctuaries have the benefit of never closing – you can join in at a time to suit you, and it reduces the complications of finding someone to provide cover.
Have a look on the right hand side for online groups you can join on Facebook.
“I couldn’t have coped without the Carers Groups, they have been my lifeline”
